Ahmed Al Najjar has over 17 years of professional experience offering advisory and management consulting for the energy sector. He’s been supporting federal, local governments’ agencies, and NGO’s across the Middle East, Africa, and Southeast Asia developing strategies and business models. He’s also managed implementation of programs that address regulatory reforms, business transformation, and demand management. Ahmed has decade of experience establishing business units, capacity building and management, business planning, corporate communications and social responsibility, and customer service. He also leverages his in-depth knowledge gained through working with world leading organizations and combined with profound understanding of the middle-eastern culture and living environment, key stakeholders and markets.
Ahmed has supported organizational development, institutional setup, hiring and management of energy research and demand management divisions for several organizations
He developed government funded energy programs and initiatives targeting supply chain and mass consumers, and supported implementation and evaluation
He also assisted clients develop CSR and ESG roadmaps, enhance operational effectiveness, delivery of services, and customers’ satisfaction
Ahmed has supported developers on project development, feasibility assessment, engineering design, and construction management of both new developments and renovation projects
He also managed expert teams in execution of more than 100 energy and water assessment studies for several customer segments, and pioneered implementation of smart solutions and application of artificial intelligence in buildings
